After a New York federal judge denied Prince Andrews legal teams motion to dismiss accuser Virginia Roberts Giuffres civil case against him on Wednesday the Duke of York will either be compelled to pay a hefty settlement or face a civil trial for sexual assault in September according to the UKs Daily Mail. Giuffre was born in California United States in 1983 as Virginia Roberts.

According to BBC her family later relocated to Florida. Giuffre also sued Andrews friend the late financier Jeffrey Epstein in 2009. She has told BBC Panorama in 2019 that at the age of seven she was sexually abused by a family friend and her childhood was taken away.

A confidential settlement between Jeffrey Epstein and Virginia Giuffre which could be key to a legal case involving Prince Andrew is set to be made public today. Virginia Giuffre may not be able to sue the royal in New York because she lives in Australia not Colorado like she claimed in her federal civil suit. Virginia Giuffre and Prince Andrew have agreed to a settlement that will end Giuffres lawsuit which had accused Andrew of sexually abusing her when she was a minor.

The 2009 agreement between Epstein - the late disgraced financier - and Ms Giuffre formerly known as Virginia Roberts is due to be released following an order by US judges.
